We are looking for a Staff UX Designer to join our UX team in Santa Clara, CA, reporting to the director of User Experience Design. In this role, you will collaborate on all aspects of the user-centric design lifecycle, including user research, low-fidelity prototyping, and usability testing. You will work closely with other Infoblox organizations, including our UX design team, Product managers, Engineering, and Product Marketing to ensure on-time and successful delivery of our products and solutions. You will also inspire product teams to think and design differently and provide solid UX expertise across multiple product lines and cross functional teams. Your design solutions will heavily influence key customer outcomes.

What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with leadership on the user experience vision, strategy, and planning
- Facilitate product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, and prototyping new design solutions
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and cybersecurity experts to integrate user-centered design principles with role-based needs and requirements of networking and security end users
- Turn the requirements into user flows, mind maps, object model diagrams, journey maps
- Support qualitative & quantitative research planning, design, recruitment, execution, analysis, and sharing of insights and recommendations
- Design macro and micro wireflows and wireframe, mockups, and functional specs documentation, to transition designs to Engineering for development along with other design artifacts, including clickable prototypes
- Use the design system of established standards, style guides, and specification documents, and contribute to and enhance the design system
- Present new product features, capabilities, and design decisions to the stakeholders
- Support qualitative and quantitative research planning, design, recruitment, execution, analysis, and sharing of insights and recommendations
- Work with Engineering to effectively plan and support the implementation of the design vision
- Stay up to date on industry trends to drive continuous improvements to user experience
What you’ll bring:
- 12+ years of UX&UI design-related experience
- Portfolio highlighting work for Enterprise Web Products and concrete understanding of design fundamentals and best practices. ** Portfolio demonstrating Networking & Security Enterprise product design is an added advantage
- Proficient with Figma and the ability to learn new tools
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into research questions and convert insights into measurable business impact
- Experience guiding teams to prioritize critical research questions and develop mixed-method research plans
- Proven ability to articulate user needs into a compelling narrative and deliver that vision through designs and workflows
- Skilled in visualizing research insights beyond traditional bullet points, while also knowing when to use concise bullet point summaries
- At least one case study demonstrating research skills with Enterprise class user experience and emerging technologies
- Ability to influence and lead internal cross-functional teams to successfully deliver designs
- Excellent communications capability for written, verbal, and presentation/collateral medium
- Bachelor’s or higher in a UX design-related field/Interaction Design/User Experience Design/ Human Factors/Industrial Design/ Business Design
What success looks like:

- Be fully engaged with our UX, Product Management, and Engineering teams
- Drive user-centered design lifecycle, prototyping, and usability testing
- Have the critical SaaS product knowledge required to drive thought leadership
After about a year, you will…
- Play a strategic role in driving the UX for our SaaS product roadmap releases
- Understand the SaaS product users, tasks, and environment
- Drive user experience recommendations to enrich our SaaS cloud services portfolio

You can expect our employment offers to take many factors into consideration, including but not limited to the location of the role, internal equity, applicable past experience, individual skill set, education, and professional certifications. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned is the base salary range for the role. The typical base salary range for this position in California is $120,600 - $181,500, plus corporate bonus potential.
